JANET DeFRINO

Prior to forming MUSE, Janet was an equity analyst with a long/short equity hedge fund based in Greenwich, Connecticut.  From 1991 – 2000, Janet was a Senior Analyst in the equity research department of Morgan Stanley & Co.  There she covered small capitalization, leisure products manufacturing, and steel and nonferrous metals companies.  Janet also co-managed the Morgan Stanley Focus List of Small Capitalization Stocks, a portfolio of the firm’s strongest ideas with a market cap of less than $1B.
 
Janet graduated from DePauw University’s Management Fellows Program Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in economics in 1986 and went on to Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, earning her MBA in 1988.

JENNY KLEIN

Jenny was formerly with SG Partners, a boutique executive search firm specializing in placements in private equity and investment banking firms, where she led high level executive searches.  Prior to SG Partners, Jenny was a Vice President in Sales and Marketing for Schroders’ investment management group.   While in law school, Jenny worked for the General Counsel at Tiger Management.
 
Jenny graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in History in 1989. She went on to receive her JD from the Benjamin N. Cardoza School of Law in 1996 and is admitted to the bar in both New York and Connecticut.
 

JILL WEISS

Jill was formerly an independent consultant for hedge funds, a start-up internet health care company, and a large genomics company.  From 1993 to 1998, Jill was a senior medical device analyst for Salomon Brothers and Deutsche Bank.  Jill began her career in the healthcare consulting group of Deloitte & Touche.
 
Jill graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an Economics major and Chemistry minor in 1989.  She received her MBA from the Wharton School, with concentrations in Finance and Health Care Management in 1993.
 
Jill is a member of the board of The University of Pennsylvania Museum, The Penn Fund and The Trustees Council for Penn Women.  She is also Co-Chair of Penn’s Benjamin Franklin Society.
